MCP Server
Connect an MCP client to your AllModels account to manage organizations, billing and keys.
https://mcp.allmodels.io/mcp is a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) for account and organization management. Your MCP client can check balance, usage and activity, create top-up links, manage guardrails, API keys and connected clients, list members, and look up model and voice ids.
It does not run text-to-speech or transcription. Those stay on the HTTP API with an API key.
Every tool needs a signed-in AllModels account. You sign in with OAuth through the dashboard, so you never paste an API key into the client.
Add the server
claude mcp add --transport http allmodels https://mcp.allmodels.io/mcpThen run /mcp inside Claude Code, choose allmodels and sign in from your browser.
- Open Customize → Connectors.
- Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Enter a name, set the URL to
https://mcp.allmodels.io/mcpand click Continue, then Add.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds the connector under Organization settings → Connectors first; members then connect it from Customize → Connectors.
Add the server, then sign in:
codex mcp add allmodels --url https://mcp.allmodels.io/mcp
codex mcp login allmodelscodex mcp login opens your browser to sign in and approve access. The server is saved in ~/.codex/config.toml:
[mcp_servers.allmodels]
url = "https://mcp.allmodels.io/mcp"Check it with codex mcp list, or /mcp inside Codex. See Codex's MCP documentation for details.
Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (all projects) or .cursor/mcp.json (one project):
{
"mcpServers": {
"allmodels": {
"url": "https://mcp.allmodels.io/mcp"
}
}
}Cursor opens your browser to sign in the first time it connects; see Cursor's MCP documentation for details.
Add the server to .vscode/mcp.json, or run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette:
{
"servers": {
"allmodels": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://mcp.allmodels.io/mcp"
}
}
}VS Code opens your browser to sign in the first time it connects.
Use the MCP Inspector to test the connection and call tools by hand:
npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector --server-url https://mcp.allmodels.io/mcp --transport httpFor any other client, add https://mcp.allmodels.io/mcp as a remote (Streamable HTTP) server; see your client's documentation for remote MCP servers.
Sign in and approve
The client registers itself with AllModels (with a client metadata document, or dynamic registration) and opens the dashboard login. After you sign in, a consent screen lists the permissions the client asked for. Approve, and the client holds a token that refreshes itself, so you stay connected.
Revoke a client at any time under Settings → Connected clients in the dashboard, or with the revoke_connected_client tool.
Ask your client
Try “What is my AllModels balance?” or “Create a $20 top-up link for my organization.”
Permissions
| Scope | What you approve | Tools |
|---|---|---|
mcp:account:read | Read your organizations, balance, usage, guardrails, keys and members | search_models, get_model, search_voices, list_organizations, get_organization, get_balance, get_usage, get_activity, get_transactions, list_guardrails, list_api_keys, list_members, list_invitations, list_connected_clients |
mcp:account:write | Create and update guardrails, set the default guardrail, revoke API keys and connections | create_guardrail, update_guardrail, set_default_guardrail, revoke_api_key, revoke_connected_client |
mcp:billing:topup | Create top-up checkout links (nothing is charged until you pay) | create_top_up_link |
Clients also request offline_access so they can refresh their token without asking you to sign in again. A client acts as you, across every organization you belong to. Organization writes, including top-up links, need the owner or admin role in that organization; revoke_connected_client acts on your own connection and needs no role.
Tools
Organization tools take an optional org_id (from list_organizations). Without it they use your personal organization. The catalog tools, list_organizations and the connected-client tools take no org_id.
| Tool | What it does | Key arguments |
|---|---|---|
search_models | Search speech models with their providers and pricing | query, capability (tts or stt), provider, limit |
get_model | One model and every provider route that serves it | id (e.g. elevenlabs/eleven-v3) |
search_voices | Search the voice catalog | q, model, provider, language, limit, cursor |
list_organizations | Your organizations, your role in each, and your personal organization | none |
get_organization | Name, your role, billing mode, defaults and balance | org_id |
get_balance | Credit balance; outstanding amount and credit limit when billed monthly | org_id |
get_usage | Usage and spend over a window (default 30 days, at most 90) | org_id, from, to, provider, model, capability, key_id |
get_activity | Recent requests with model, provider, status and cost | org_id, from, to, status, limit, cursor |
get_transactions | Billing history: top-ups, grants and other ledger entries | org_id, limit, cursor |
list_guardrails | Guardrails (spend budgets), marking the default | org_id |
list_api_keys | API keys by id, name, prefix, last four, status and last use; never the secret | org_id |
list_members | Members with email, name and role | org_id |
list_invitations | Invitations with email, role, status and expiry | org_id |
list_connected_clients | MCP clients you have approved, with their scopes and grant ids | none |
create_guardrail | Create a spend budget | org_id, display_name, budget_mode, budget_amount_usd, budget_period, enabled |
update_guardrail | Replace a guardrail's settings (every field is sent; a capped budget needs an amount and a period) | org_id, guardrail_id, and the create_guardrail fields |
set_default_guardrail | Make a guardrail the default | org_id, guardrail_id |
revoke_api_key | Permanently revoke an API key | org_id, key_id |
revoke_connected_client | Revoke a connected client and sign it out | grant_id |
create_top_up_link | Create a short AllModels link that opens Stripe Checkout to add credit | org_id, amount_usd (5 to 1,000), idempotency_key |
create_top_up_link returns a short AllModels link that redirects to Stripe Checkout; nothing is charged until you open it and pay.
There is no tool to create API keys, so a key secret never appears in a chat transcript. Create keys in the dashboard.
Headless agents
MCP sign-in needs a person with a browser. For an agent that runs on its own, use an API key instead: see Agentic Setup.
Endpoints for integrators
| Endpoint | URL |
|---|---|
| MCP server | https://mcp.allmodels.io/mcp |
| Protected resource metadata | https://mcp.allmodels.io/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp |
| Authorization server (issuer) | https://dash.allmodels.io/api/auth |
A request without a token gets 401 with a WWW-Authenticate header that points at the protected resource metadata. The issuer supports client ID metadata documents and dynamic client registration.
